The Client

Aerial Force is a nationally established company committed to providing the highest quality of satellite, home entertainment, & digital aerial installation services across the country. They are a network of local-based aerial engineers offering a unique same-day service to UK residents.

They came to us to help them improve their SERP rankings, grow their organic traffic, and generate quality leads from their website.

The Problem

To The Top does not follow a one-size-fits-all SEO strategy. We make sure to tailor each one according to the site's needs. A thorough site audit revealed the pain points of the site. Here are some of our findings:

  • The website lacked the authority and a strong backlinks profile to rank for competitive keywords.
  • The website suffered from technical and quality issues that could affect the SEO such as site structure, duplicate content, missing redirects, 404 pages and canonical issues.
  • The website's location landing pages, service pages, blog posts and Google my Business profile were not optimized properly to rank in Google.

The Solution

  • Content Creation - Every SEO content marketing strategy should involve the utilization of the blog. It's a great way to create linkable assets, nurture users and increase topical authority. We wrote over fifty blog posts covering relevant industry topics. We optimized each article for SEO and customer conversion.
  • Service Pages - The client covers various services --- TV Aerial Installations, CCTV Installation, and Satellite TV Repairs. We created service pages for all of their services. This allows us to send visitors to the correct landing page and provide them with the right information. SEO-wise, it's also practical to avoid overcrowding keywords unrelated to each other, such as CCTV repair and TV aerial installation.
  • Location Pages - The client offers its services across the UK. We wrote and published hundreds of location landing pages, each with specific and unique information on every location that they cover.

    We optimized each local landing page for a specific city or county, i.e. aerial installation Manchester or CCTV repair London.

  • Technical Audit - The first thing we did was to check the health of the website; mobile responsiveness, page speed, crawlable content, indexing issues, URL structure, duplicate content and many more.

    We also worked on improving the User Experience and therefore User Signals (which is a ranking factor) on the site. We used Hotjar and Google Analytics to get insights on how to optimize the user journey.
  • Link Building - Backlinks are still a significant ranking factor. When a third-party website adds a link to your website, it is considered a vote of confidence in your authority.

    We executed various white hat link building strategies such as Guest Posting, Link Inserts, Niche Edits, Competitor Backlinks outreach, and many more. In a span of 11 months, we built 269 backlinks to the website. The site's referring domains increased by 191.

    One of our primary tactics was to reverse engineer the outreach strategy of their top competitors. We downloaded their competitor's backlinks profile data, and then we reached out to those sites.
  • GMB Optimization - The client had over 20 Google My Business profiles that weren't ranking in the top 3. We optimized their GMB profiles and built citations to the corresponding location pages on the website.
